Guides for curious parents.

What kids learn

Skills that grow with them.

Curious Dojo teaches transferable AI literacy — not just how to use today's tools, but how to think clearly, create safely, and question answers like a builder. The course library keeps growing, but these four skills are the foundation.

Think Like a Creator
Turn ideas into stories, art, characters, sounds, and games — and understand how each piece fits together.
Give Clear Instructions
Ask clear questions, give good instructions, and spot when an answer needs a human check.
Build, Not Just Click
Complete guided projects while learning the logic behind how AI systems work.
Spot Bias & Think Critically
Notice when data is unfair, question weird outputs, and learn to fix them.
FAQ

Questions parents ask.

Who is Curious Dojo for?+

Curious kids who can read independently — typically ages 6+ — and their parents. Lessons also have a read-aloud button, so younger or still-developing readers can listen instead. Parents create and manage the account; kids sign in with a PIN to their own profile.

Is it safe for my kid to use unsupervised?+

Yes. Curious Dojo is a self-contained learning environment — no external links, no open internet, no chat with strangers, and no open AI playground. Everything happens inside the app, and parents can review activity anytime from the dashboard.

Do you use AI with kids?+

AI is used only inside guided lessons and structured activities — never as an open playground. Prompts and outputs are constrained to age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned tasks, filtered for kid-safe content, and every creation your child makes is visible to you in the parent dashboard.

What does 'parent-managed' mean?+

A parent (or guardian) owns the account, sets up each kid's profile, sets their PIN, and has a dashboard to view progress, badges, creations, and certificates. Kids can't change account settings, add profiles, or leave the app.

Which courses are included?+

Five courses are live today: AI Mastery for Kids, AI Creator Lab, Prompting for Kids, AI Detective, Learn Anything with AI, and Build It with AI (App Lab). Every course follows the same shape — 5 worlds, short lessons, True/False quizzes, badges and XP — and all of them are included in one family plan.

What can my kid actually make?+

In Creator Lab kids write stories and songs, design characters, and build their own mini-games that they can play in the Arcade. In Build It with AI, they describe an app and see it come alive in the App Lab studio. Everything is saved to their gallery so you can view — and play — it from your dashboard.

Who is Bolty?+

Bolty is the in-app guide. Bolty only answers questions about Curious Dojo — courses, lessons, badges, and how the app works — and is designed to refuse anything outside that, including general internet questions.

How much time does it take?+

Lessons are short and self-paced — most kids do 10–20 minutes at a time. Each course is roughly 10 hours of learning spread across as many sittings as your family wants, ending with a final mastery exam and a printable certificate.

Will I know how my kid is doing?+

Yes. Your dashboard breaks progress down course by course, and we email you a weekly activity report plus milestone notifications when your child earns badges or finishes a course.

Do you collect personal data on my kid?+

We only collect what's needed to run the account: a first name and a PIN for the kid profile, plus lesson progress and the creations they make. No ads, no profiling, no data sold. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I cancel anytime?+

Yes. Plans are month-to-month or yearly and can be cancelled anytime from your parent dashboard. We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
