Acceptable Use and Child Safety Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
Curious Dojo is a parent-managed AI literacy learning platform for children ages 6+ (reading age). This policy explains how families may use the Service and what is not allowed. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Parent-managed accounts
A parent or legal guardian must create the family account, add child profiles, set PINs, and supervise each child's use as appropriate for the child's age and reading level. Children do not create public accounts, use email-based login, or manage billing.
2. Child-safe learning environment
The child experience is designed to stay inside Curious Dojo. Children are not provided open web browsing, social posting, direct messaging, public profile pages, or access to an open-ended AI chatbot. Lessons and activities use structured, curriculum-aligned prompts and responses.
3. Prohibited use
You must not use Curious Dojo to:
- break any law or encourage unlawful conduct;
- create, request, upload, or share sexual, violent, hateful, abusive, or exploitative content;
- harass, bully, threaten, impersonate, or harm another person;
- infringe intellectual property rights or submit content you do not have permission to use;
- attempt to bypass child-safety controls, filters, PINs, subscriptions, or technical limits;
- probe, scrape, reverse engineer, attack, overload, or interfere with the Service;
- upload malware, spam, deceptive content, or fraudulent information;
- resell, redistribute, or provide unauthorized access to the Service.
4. AI literacy activities
Curious Dojo teaches children about AI through structured lessons, quizzes, mini-games, and guided creative activities. It is not a marketplace for generated content, not an unfiltered content-generation service, and not a substitute for professional advice. Parents are responsible for reviewing how their family uses outputs and for ensuring any uploaded or typed content is appropriate and permitted.
5. Moderation and enforcement
We may filter, remove, or restrict content or activity that violates this policy, creates a safety risk, or may harm children, other users, the Service, or third parties. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, non-payment, fraud, or security risks.
